TES

AXSYS TES is an endstation of the UE-52 SGM beamline. TES detection pushes the powerful soft X-ray spectroscopic tools (XAS, XES, RIXS) to world-leading impurity level characterization and unprecedentedly low concentration systems. Scientific focus is on catalytic active sites, nucleation processes and materials impurities and doping levels. 

Within WI-AOS, we develop and maintain the measurement software in collaboration with NSLS-II. In particular, we:

  • develop and maintain a GUI to control the beamline and TES detector to run XAS measurements;
  • maintain a GUI for live data visualization;
  • handle the data storage and auto-processing tools for the experiments
