The facility for proton therapy and radhard
The whole facility accelerator complex, together with the beam line system, power supplies, and cooling elements, fills a factory hall. The heart of the facility are two particle accelerators. With these, the accelerator crew of HZB provides a proton beam which is perfectly adapted to the needs of the eye tumour therapy. On the experimental station, the proton beam can be tailored to the individual needs of the experiment.
