The X-ray CoreLab provides a variety of modern X-ray diffractometers. An outstanding feature of the X-ray CoreLab is the in-situ analysis of structural phase transitions, the investigation of structure, microstructure and texture of thin layers, as well as the analysis of internal tensions in materials. The X-ray CoreLab also offers MetalJet high-flux x-ray sources. These high-flux sources provide intense x-ray light with a high brilliance and will open up new perspectives in materials research.
