Sample Annotation
New Sample annotation tool
It is possible to provide us your sample and project names for each and every sample, organised within the unipuck, you bring to the beamline or send to us. This information can be used by MXCuBE to assign diffraction image and subdirectory names automatically, which improves your workflow at your beam time substantially.
Template Excel.xlsx file
Please download this file and fill out one worksheet per unipuck:
Handling
Within the template, you’ll need to specify the name of the unipuck (e.g. '1345'), a protein acronym (e.g. 'Cobra1'), and a name for each crystal (e.g., 'Cobra1_testsoak_1', 'Cobra1_testsoak_2', etc.). For sample and puck naming, please ensure each name is unique and contains no spaces.
The template file contains sheets for 7 pucks. In case you have more than 7 pucks you can just add more sheets and copy the table structure to them.
What to do next
Please send this .xlsx file prior to your remote beam time to your user support or provide this at the day of your experiment to the user support.
