Application Country of Honour 2025

To make international integration and cooperation more visible the BESSY@HZB User Meeting will be accompanied by a Country of Honour. This year’s Country of Honour is Niger and we are pleased to welcome scientists from Niger who will participate in the BESSY@HZB User Meeting.

HZB will reimburse travel expenses and provides accommodation in our guesthouse from December 01 (Monday) to December 06 (Saturday) free of charge.

This invitation is directed to scientists at the beginning of their scientific career. We have organised an interesting programme with laboratory tours and scientific lectures.

If you are interested to participate in the Country of Honour programme please apply through the form below. Since the programme is limited to a few scientists, we have a selection procedure. In order to evaluate your qualification, you will be asked to submit a short curriculum vitae plus a short statement that justifies favourable consideration as a participant.

Scientists that are accepted to participate will be notified mid of October 2025. More detailed information will be sent out with the notification of acceptance.
