Application Country of Honour 2026

To make international integration and cooperation more visible the BESSY@HZB User Meeting will be accompanied by a Country of Honour. This year’s Country of Honour is the Republic of Serbia and we are pleased to welcome 8 scientists from Serbia who will participate in the BESSY@HZB User Meeting.

HZB will reimburse travel expenses and provides accommodation in our guesthouse from November 29 (Sunday) to December 05 (Saturday) free of charge.

This invitation is directed to scientists at the beginning of their scientific career. We have organised an interesting programme with laboratory tours and scientific lectures.

Scientists that are accepted to participate will be notified by end of October 2026. More detailed information will be sent out with the notification of acceptance.
