NanoTP Scientific Annual Meeting 2012

The 3rd Annual Scientific Meeting of the COST Project MP0901 "NanoTP" will be held this year at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB), Wilhelm-Conrad-Röntgen-Campus, Berlin, Germany from 9th – 12th December 2012.

Similar to the last two successful meetings (Trieste 2011 and Berlin 2010) the main focus of this meeting will be on scientific discussions, scientific networking and broadening of collaborations. The meeting is scheduled as a satellite meeting shortly before the 4th Joint BER II and BESSY II Users' Meeting to which all interested participants are very welcome.

It is planned to have oral presentations and enough time for discussion during the poster sessions. The meeting  will take place at the BESSY II building and will start in the early afternoon of Sunday, December 9th. In conjunction with the Scientific Meeting the NanoTP Management Committee will be hosted by HZB at the BESSY II building on December 12th, 2012.

Due to organizational reasons participants should register (please indicate your arrival and departure day) and organize their trip as early as possible, but not later than November 8th, 2012.  Travel and accommodation reimbursement for NanoTP members will be available under the usual NanoTP rules (contact Carla Bittencourt or Chris Ewels for further details if necessary or check the website). There will be no meeting fee. Notably it is essential for registered NanoTP members to submit an abstract (a template is available( here  - you must be logged in on the NanoTP website) if you plan to attend the Scientific Meeting indicating oral or poster presentation. For non-registered people planning to attend the meeting please contact the local organizer for registration not later than November 8th, 2012.

Local organizer: Peter Guttmann (mailto: peter.guttmann(at)helmholtz-berlin.de)
