SRF Science

Research within the SRF Science group focuses on the performance optimization of SRF materials, aiming at lowering the RF surface resistance and increasing the achievable field gradient, as well as increasing the usable operating temperature. This entails the investigation of novel materials, and of performance limiting factors such as surface contaminations or trapped magnetic flux.
