Slot-die coating infrastructure

SE-ALM operates several slot-die tools from:

  • small area to large area
  • R&D to industry scale
  • S2S to R2R

The tools are equiped with multimodal in-situ metrology equipment for quality control and in-depth research.

Inkjet printing

SE-ALM operates various Inkjet printers in the JointLab facilities together with Prof. List-Kratochvils group  for: 

  • ink developement
    • green inks
    • ionic liquids
    • precursor inks
  • process developement
    • ambient vs. inert
    • air-knife quenching vs. vacuum drying
    • printhead, temperature, annealing,..
  • small and medium area test cells
    • solar cells

  • up scaling on industrial inkjet printheads (Spectra, KM, ...)

High-throughput platforms

For high-thourhgpu Material screening and Process exploration, we operate and develope the following tools: 

  • Combinatorial inkjet printing
  • Combinatorial slot-die coating
  • Spin&blade-Bot platform
  • HT-analytic robot platform

Data infrastructre & Analytics

We use the FAIRMAT database system NOMAD as electronic lab notebook and data storage system. We implemented various apps to curate and analyse our data automatically.
