Cryostat for operando x-ray omography

The instrumentation allows to monitor materials with time-resolved X-ray imaging at controlled in-situ gas or fluid flow conditions in a broad temperature range.

Temperature 100 - 400 K

The experimental, methodological requirements met with the setup are: a precisely controllable temperature range of 100K - 400K, a 360° rotation of the sample in the beam window with as little distance as possible from the sample to the detector and a spatial stability of the sample position of less than 0.01 mm. Different sample cell options allow investigations under controlled gas atmospheres or fluid flow.
