Studium der Mathematik in Tel Aviv University (B.Sc), Israel, and TU Berlin, Germany, Diplom in Mathematik  (1979-1986)

Ab 1984 Werkstudentin und seit 1990 feste Anstellung bei BESSY / HZB 

Tätigkeitsfeld:

Beschleunigerphysik

Beiträge zu fast allen großen beschleunigerphysikalischen Projekten: Optik von BESSY II und Inbetriebnahme, BESSY Soft Xray-FEL, Stars, bERLinPro (sowohl inhaltlich als auch in der Projektleitung) und, seit Sommer 2020, Designarbeiten für BESSY III.

Ich bin Mitglied in zwei internationalen Gremien und  arbeite als Gutachter für Publikationen. 

Außerwissenschaftliches Engagement:

Unterstützung der ‘Langen Nacht der Wissenschaften’ mit verschiedenen Modellbauten und einem Film, zwei Amtsperioden als Ombudsfrau und stellvertretende Vorsitzende des WTR während der letzten beiden Wahlperioden.

Wir haben 3 Kinder erzogen, die 1989, 1991 und 1994 geboren wurden.
