EMIL
Characterisation (SCALA) Lab
In the sample characterization laboratory, several instruments will be located for sample preparation and analysis.
This laboratory offers the possibility to explore physicochemical properties of samples by synchrotron light independent characterization techniques.
The planned available equipment for preparation consist of:
- Flow box for advanced preparation procedures
- Toolbox for sample mounting
- Microspot welding
- Soldering station
While for the characterization of samples the planned equipment is :
- Atomic force microscope
- Optical microscope
- 4 point probe
- Solar simulator
- Profilometer
- Seebeck setup
- Magneto-Optic Kerr Effect Setup
- UV/Vis-Spectrometer
- External Quantum Efficiency measurement system (located outside the EMIL-building)
- X-ray diffractometer
