User Access

EMIL will provide 30% of the available beamtime for external users in the framework of the peer-reviewed HZB-beamtime proposal system (GATE). Three different  proposal types are supported:

  • Start-up Proposals
  • Short Term Proposals
  • Collaboration Long Term Proposals

Absolutely essential is an intense counseling by a specialist as the local contact. Please provide a short draft of your project, the head of the EMIL infrastructure will select the most appropriate local contact for your research.
