Here are our offers:
Further Training for Teachers at Primary Schools
for Different Topics of the Primary School Project Days
Topics: |
light and colours research into solar energyresearch into materials |
Date: | by arrangement |
Time frame: | 3 - 4 hours |
Instructor: | Dr. Ulrike Witte |
Where: | Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie, Albert-Einstein-Str. 15, 12489 Berlin (Adlershof) |
Topic: | magnetism |
Date: | by arrangement |
Time frame: | 3 - 4 hours |
Lecturer: | Dagmar Köpnick-Welzel |
Where: | Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie, Hahn-Meitner-Platz 1, 14109 Berlin (Wannsee) |
The events begin with an introductory talk about research at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie. This is followed by an explanation of the school lab Blick in die Materie and the topics of the primary school project days. After the theory, we will move on to the practical part: together we will experiment on the respective topic. Not only will the experiments of the school lab be presented, but also experiments that you can incorporate into your lessons.
At the end, a guided tour of individual research areas of the institute is possible.
Further Training for Teachers for Higher Grades
for the topic of solar energy
Topic: | solar energy: experiments for pupils and newest developments |
Date: | by arrangement |
Time frame: | 3-4 hours |
Lecturer: | Dr. Ulrike Witte |
Where: | Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie, Albert-Einstein-Str. 15, 12489 Berlin (Adlershof) |
A lecture will give an account of the latest developments in the field of solar cells, and a guided tour of laboratories is possible. You will make your own Farbstoffsolarzelle from fruit tea and other simple ingredients, which you can also take away. Efficiencies and current-voltage characteristics are measured on these and other cells.
Not only the experiments of the school laboratory are presented, but also experiments that you can take over into your lessons. Suggestions for following up a project day at HZB with the school class will be discussed.
