The facility for proton therapy
The whole facility accelerator complex, together with the beam line system, power supplies, and cooling elements, fills a factory hall. The heart of the facility are two particle accelerators. With these, the accelerator crew of HZB provides a proton beam which is perfectly adapted to the needs of the eye tumour therapy.
