Server Monitoring

Currently we use the software Icinga for monitoring servers and Thruk to visualize the results.

Which parameters are monitored?

We monitor listed parameters standardly. If you want to monitor any additional parameter, please get in touch with us.

Linux

How servers are monitored

To monitor your servers, certain settings or specific software packages are required, according to your operating system.

All Windows versions are monitored via WMI. Linux systems can be monitored in different ways. We are using NRPE checks by default.

Windows

A user is defined in the permission settings via which Icinga can query the parameters via WMI.

Linux

Various Nagios plugins are installed.
